What does Brexit mean for the EU Data Protection Regulation?
26 Oct 2016
The European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) has been a long time in the making. It’s also not without its critics. But, after thousands of amendments, and years of discussion relating to its scope, the Regulation was adopted on 27th April 2016.
The Regulation will come into force across all 27 member countries (and any additional accession countries that enter the EU before then) on 25th May, 2018.
